1982 – ‘Deer Park Mafia’ (see 197X for ‘Moira Mafia’) peaks with more than 24 former students of Brian Blackstock working and attending.
1983 – new LIT cabin opens above cabin 3 and 4; old LIT cabin becomes Staff Lounge
1984
1985 – windsurfers come to Mazinaw, in memory of Don Kellock (courtesy of his father Burt)
1986 – Brian Blackstock decides to leave Mazinaw; Paul and Martha McLean continue to operate the camp.
1987
