That’s Dick Blackstock on the right in the back row. My guess is the cabin (senior group – Cabin 13 probably) had just come back from a canoe trip. They’ve showered and had dinner and the two boys in the front row have their laundry (which was sent out once or twice during the old six week camp).

We have just returned from 10 days paddling UP (Backies’ Idea) the Madawaska River to Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park. To be honest there was short “train” ride just before we caught to the Park. As I recall, it was a great trip in spite of the long faces,
