Hair and , oh God, the Fountain of Youth!

If this pic is from the summer when Ken had Cabin 5 (closest to the Lodge), then I’m there too! After that summer I started Pickering College Prep. During these time I spent my school holidays at Mac Kenzie’s restaurant on the Upper Maz (later I worked summers as a short order cook and night manager at Mac Kenzies’) Jean Mac Kenzie was my Godmother, bless her ever lovin’ heart, as she used to say.

I didn’t get the get the great honour and burden of being Captain Kybo until 1976, working for Paul Mc Lean as Maintenance with Jamie, my last year at Camp. Our secret base was under the DOER shop, across from the Craftshop and Fort Henry. I flew a broom loaded with bumwad rolls. Eat dust, Harry Plotter!
I still love camping at Kevin Smart’s lovely Bon Echo Provincial Park and renting a boat from Smart’s Marina.
